Rep. Brown's First Bill Luncheon
Students in the hospitality/food service program at the Huron Area Technical Center catered Rep. Terry Brown's "First Bill Luncheon," a tradition in the Michigan House of Representatives that calls for a lawmaker to host a luncheon after his or her first bill passes the House. The students made 24 dozen cookies, including 12 dozen of these, which were a big hit. Members of the House of Representatives especially appreciated the U.P. being represented!
